Special E-Book Collection for Kids

TumbleBooks is a collection of animated, talking picture books and chapter books which can be viewed using any reading/mobile device that has an internet connection.  The collection includes fiction, non-fiction, Read-Alongs, foreign language titles, puzzles and games.

Our TumbleBooks collection is now available on your tablet or smartphone!  The apps for both Apple iOS and Android devices and can be found in the AppStore or Google Play.

Library Babies

Mondays, Dec. 2nd and Dec. 16th at 11:00 am

LIBRARY BABIES IS CANCELLED DEC 2nd DUE TO THE WEATHER

This special program meets twice a month for infants and children up to 24 months.

Will include rhymes, stories and songs. Older siblings always welcome.

Preschool Story Time

Tuesdays at 10:30 am and Wednesdays at 2:00 pm

There will be a special Holiday Story Time on Tuesday, Dec. 3rd

  Preschoolers will enjoy stories, songs and a craft while building important literacy skills.  All ages welcome.

Chess Club

Wednesday, Dec. 11th  6:00 – 7:15 pm

Learn tips from a chess instructor and have fun playing other students at this monthly program For students who would like to learn chess and players who want to improve their skills! Best for students in grades 2 – 8.

Yoga Story Time

Tuesday, Dec. 17th  10:00 am

Join us for a  preschool-friendly yoga story time!  We’ll stretch, listen to relaxing music, learn some easy yoga poses and read a few fun stories.  Best for ages 3-6.

Paws Reading Buddies

Wednesday, Dec. 18th  6:30 – 7:30 pm

Children gain confidence while reading aloud to a trained therapy dog.  Bring a favorite book or borrow one of ours.

Kids will receive a PAWS reading log to be stamped every time they read with one of the dogs – when their log is full they receive a free book!

Touch the Music: The Nutcracker

Thursday, Dec. 19th  10:30 am

We will hear the story of “The Nutcracker”,  listen to some of the music and then experience a hands on opportunity to play some of the orchestral instruments we heard.  Recommended for ages 3 and up.
