Senior Lunch and Learn on Monday, December 2 at 12 pm

Monthly program on health and wellness for Senior Citizens. A complimentary lunch is served. This month’s topic is “Arthritis of the Hands: Common Problems and Rehabilitation” presented by Occupational Therapist, Paul Hayes. Co-sponsored by the Senior Resource Center.

Healthy Holiday Cooking Class on Wednesday, December 4 at 7 pm

Join Stacie De Lucia, RDN of Shoprite in Chester, as she prepares some healthy holiday food that is sure to please your family and guests.  We will all get to taste these delicious dishes and take home the recipes!

Christmas Floral Arrangement Workshop on Tuesday, December 10 at 1 pm

Learn the basics of creating an appealing floral arrangement while making your own small holiday candle floral arrangement to take home. Local resident Nancy Gahtan will lead the workshop where we will use greens available in our backyards, household items and inexpensive flowers. Registration preference given to Chester residents.

Holiday Concert on Sunday, December 15 at 2 pm

Need a little bit of holiday cheer? The Chester Library welcomes a talented group of singers and musicians from Mendham High School who will entertain us with a mix of holiday music. Refreshments provided.

Special Showing of “Downton Abbey” Movie on Friday, December 20 at 1 pm

Join us for a special holiday showing of this recently released movie.  Enjoy tea and English biscuits as we watch the continuing story of the Crawley family, wealthy owners of a large estate in the English countryside in the early 20th century. Rated PG. 122 minutes.

Bunco on Thursday, December 19 at 7 pm

Bunco is an easy-to-play game of dice for adults – and a good excuse to get together and have fun! You do not have to know how to play to attend the event. Come to this special holiday celebration alone or with your Bunco buddies. Please bring a holiday treat to share.
